Interest-Based Advertising and Analytics
We also work with third parties to provide targeted advertising services that are customized based on your online activities over time and across unaffiliated websites and devices (“interest-based advertising”). For example, these third parties may use the fact that you visited our Site to target online ads for Farmer Mac to you on non-Farmer Mac sites. These third parties may also use information about your use of our Site to help target non-Farmer Mac advertisements based on your online behavior in general. These third parties may also use information to establish connections among related web browsers and devices (such as smartphones, tablets, and computers) for advertising, analytics, attribution, and reporting purposes (“cross-device linking”).
For more information about interest-based advertising and cross-device linking, please visit the Network Advertising Initiative website and the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) website. You may also opt out of interest-based advertising and cross-device linking in web browsers on your current browser or device by following the instructions below.
To opt out in web browsers, please visit http://optout.aboutads.info/ and http://optout.networkadvertising.org. To help preserve the choices that you make in the DAA’s WebChoices page, you can install the DAA’s “Protect My Choices” extension that is available at http://www.aboutads.info/PMC.
Please note that the opt-out will apply only to the specific browser or device from which you opt out, so you will need to opt out separately on all of your browsers and devices. If you delete or reset your cookies or mobile advertising identifiers, change browsers, or use a different device, any opt-out cookie or tool may no longer work and you will need to opt out again.
The use of online tracking mechanisms by third parties is subject to those third parties’ own privacy policies and not this Policy. If you prefer to prevent third parties from setting and accessing cookies on your computer or other device, you may set your browser to block cookies. Although our Site currently does not respond to “do not track” browser headers, you can limit certain tracking and analytics by taking the steps discussed above.
The Site may contain links to websites or services of third parties. If you follow a link to any of these websites or services, please note that these websites and any services that may be accessible through them have their own privacy policies.
